Sooner than later, I have gotten to realize that Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) just want French speakers like me to migrate to their country fast among other professionals. They need expertise like myself than never before. And you know what? I cannot also wait to move to Canada. But then, what is stopping me? You. Yes, YOU! I want us to all go in grand style. There is no joy for me going all by myself; I want my GANG to storm Canada so that they know we have arrived and come to stay…

Fun Fact about French Learning
Truth be told, it is not easy learning a second language like French. That does not mean it is not fun to learn. At A.O.S Academy Ltd, we coach you on how to study and speak French not only learn it right from the very first day of class or coaching. But before we dive deep into French learning, let me explain to you the novel options that are available for you who wants or better still needs to move to Canada permanently now not later.
The Good News
The news just came in that: IRCC is introducing pathways for 90,000 international student graduates and essential workers in Canada to become permanent residents, plus an unlimited number of French-speaking applicants. IRCC has also held an Express Entry draw today. What does this mean for you?
It tells you that; you can now relocate to Canada for important job positions required for the sustainable economy and healthcare system maintenance there. Essential workers, international student graduates and French speakers in Canada will have six new pathways to permanent residency this May.These New Pathways
The new immigration programs will only be accepting temporary workers who are either employed or would be employed in hospitals and long-term care homes, and those on the frontlines of other essential sectors, as well as international student graduates from Canadian educational institutions.
As of the month of May 6, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will begin accepting applications under the following three streams:
Temporary heathcare workers (20,000 applications)
Temporary Essential occupations workers (30,000 applications)
International Canadian Graduate students (40,000 applications)
The Minister’s Speech
Just yesterday, the Canada’s immigration minister, Marco Mendicino, announced that these new programs will pave the way for 90,000 new immigrants to get permanent status this year. The other three of the streams for French-speaking immigrants will have no intake cap. Let me emphasize that again; the other three streams will be SOLELY for French-speaking immigrants like us. How more proud can I be of my linguistics prowess? Please note that these streams will only remain open until November 5, 2021, or until they have reached their limit. So, you have to act fast if you want to benefit from any of these rare gem opportunities. These new public policies apply to workers in 40 healthcare occupations, as well as 95 other essential jobs across a range of fields, like caregiving and food production and distribution.Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, workers need at least one year of Canadian work experience in a healthcare profession or another pre-approved essential occupation. International graduates must have completed an eligible Canadian post-secondary program within the last four years, and no earlier than January 2017.Graduates and workers must have proficiency in one of Canada’s official languages; meet general admissibility requirements; and be present, authorized to work and working in Canada at the time of their application to qualify.“These new policies will help those with a temporary status to plan their future in Canada, play a key role in our economic recovery and help us build back better,” Mendicino said in a media release. “Our message to them is simple: your status may be temporary, but your contributions are lasting—and we want you to stay.”
Temporary – Permanent Residency Option
One major thing that I want you to note at this juncture is that you do not really need to first of all move to Canada as a permanent resident. With the good words of the Minister, you can move on a temporary visa to Canada through any of the study, visitor or work visa which A.O.S Migration Agency can easily work out for you. Then, when you stay there for a couple of weeks, months or even years, you can now decide to apply for your permanent residency in Canada while still in Canada. My Uncle’s Experience
My uncle and his family went to Canada through the visitor visa for instance. And now, he and his family are now living in Canada as permanent residents enjoying the same benefits like the Canadians themselves. They are even more of Nigerian-Canadians now than ever before. His wife and three kids are so happy, I see their pictures on Facebook and see how well-fed they are now, how comfortable they have become and how well they are much more educated and even well off competitive educationally in the global market. What is Still to Come?
Although it is still early, Canada already looks set to achieve its 401,000 newcomer target this year, the question now is; do you want to move yourself and your family to Canada in earnest before the opportunity is shot? More importantly, how committed are you morally, financially and otherwise to relocate? Gone are those days when you sit and wish, now you have to stand and act; in fact act faster than before for you never know what is coming next.
In the year 2020, no one knew that the Coronavirus would hit us on a global scale. Those who witnessed it in China were not even sure it will tour round the whole universe until we all bore the seemingly fate. Yet, my uncles in Canada, UK and the US said they were given monetary and grocery palliatives almost for FREE which Nigeria could not afford to give even its own true citizens talk less of immigrants. What has Been Achieved?
IRCC data shows Canada has welcomed nearly 50,000 new permanent residents through the first two months of 2021. From the earlier statistics, more than 351,000 will still be invited and even migrated to Canada. Will you and your family be part of that number? The ball is indeed in your court.
