I, Azeez Olanrewaju Shoderu, am a very open-minded person and I appreciate input of people to my work. In fact, I earnestly expect them as it informs me how better I should coordinate my affairs. Yet, I uphold strict compliance to accurate and up-to-date information regarding the Canada Immigration services, requirements and policies.
It is really necessary for everyone involved in the processing of moving to Canada to get their facts and figures right before dishing out misleading information to willing immigrants. Better still, do not just want to have a say when Canada immigration discussions come up, rather listen, read and ask questions to remain objective and to continually be a student of the process. I am not even a “know-all” and I would appreciate everyone conversing with me about this aspect of my business on a very neutral and objective manner. You cannot expect me to converse with you when you prove to me already that you know so much and do not need to be taught about it. We all are learning everyday and need to always get updated as we advance through Canada immigration processes and life in general.
The Whatsapp Conversation
That being said, today’s blog article was sprung up as a result of a Whatsapp conversation with a potential client or should even say an observer of our activities at A.O.S Migration Agency. As a Canada immigration agent with more than 3 years of constant learning, I have mostly emphasized during my practice that every immigration applicant is different and more so every application is distinct. Also, based on Canada immigration website, there are 12 major ways to migrate to Canada permanently with or without your family and also more than 80 economic class immigration programs.
Express Entry Requirements
Also, Express Entry (which is the most immigration program most people only know about) manages applications for three economic immigration programs:
Federal Skilled Worker Program
Federal Skilled Trades Program
Canadian Experience Class
According to my last check today about the requirements of each of these programs, there are various requirements that a candidate must have in order to qualify for an ITA (invitation to Apply) for permanent residence. Never was it written in therein that band 8 is needed for listening to qualify for any of the programs in the express entry.2021-2023 Immigration Levels Plan
Secondly, based on the current 2021-2023 Immigration Levels Plan, more immigrants will be entering into Canada for the next 3 years and it is not possible to accurately predict CRS cut-offs, it is of the opinion that the scores will drop slightly to accommodate more willing immigrants.
Her Stand
On the other hand, this is not the refute completely the potential client’s claim of 8.0 listening, the more the marks in the IELTS result, the more one is chanced to pursue the ITA and get successfully selected to move to Canada in earnest. Some agents and other ill-formed well-wishers mislead people by giving them such information which makes people look down on their results and later on give up on their attempts to process their Canada immigration processing. Furthermore, a client writing IELTS do not necessarily mean he or she will or must definitely process the express entry program. There are other programs that require less or no IELTS result and scores to move successfully to Canada. In addition, each client has plans for writing IELTS test in the first place. It is very wrong and self-centered and even egocentric for one to assume the purpose of such motives. Generalizations are bad. One can ask before speaking or advising such candidate before jumping into conclusions and end up misleading that individual. Not everyone is taking IELTS for immigration purposes. Likewise, not everyone is taking IELTS for Canadian immigration express entry program. To be objective enough, ask questions more than give quick verdicts or fast declarations. It pays to be objective enough to learn and be more open-minded to hear or read someone else’s opinion.
Appreciation of people’s efforts will go a long way to reinforce their confidence in themselves. They would feel intelligent, get elated to do more after initial appraisal and even get more energized to take other tests, learn more and even exceed their previous results. Thus, it is quite expedient to acknowledge their efforts and achievements even if it is minimal and below expectations. Lack of this can mar someone’s progress and belief in one. It can even bring about enmity between the parties. There is so much hate in the world now that we do not need more of its input.
