Lots of people have been making enquiries concerning Canada Immigration and It is always appauling when they do not know what it takes to easily move to Canada. Some are even already in the Express Entry Pool but still have litle ideas on how to increase their CRS scores. What do we even mean by CRS ?
Meaning of CRS
The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) is criteria used by the Express Entry system to score candidates who apply through the federal government’s skilled worker programs. These programs include the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Trades Program and the Canadian Experience Class under the Canadian Express Entry Immigration Pathway.
Assessment Categories
Therefore, the CRS is a points-based system that Canada Immigration use to assess and score your profile and rank it in the Express Entry pool. It’s used to assess your:

Skills
Education
Language ability
Work experience
Spouse’s profile
Survivability ratio
Among other factors

 Spouse’s Profile
The overall Comprehensive Ranking System score is broken up into different sections with different combinations resulting in higher points. If you have a spouse, their profile is also taken into account as a secondary-applicant which means that they don’t add extra points to your total, they simply add a small percentage of the total.

How to Increase your CRS Score
There are so many ways you can improve your CRS score. The main methods are to work on your
experience in your field as well as your level of education. It also helps to have some connection to Canada through studies or prior work experience.

There are certain factors of the CRS that you can not necessarily change, such as your age. In terms of how the points are broken down, candidates between the ages of 20 and 29 score the highest for this category, so it’s best to immigrate as early on as possible.
Another way you can get your CRS score increased is by getting a valid job offer. This means that you have to get a permanent full-time paying at least 1 year employment opportunity in Canada. This will fetch you a 200 points inclusive to other scorea you get from other categories.
A big way to add to your CRS score is to achieve a Provincial Nomination. You can apply for this through a specific province in Canada from within the Express Entry system. This works by submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) to your chosen province (or waiting for them to send you a Notification of Interest [NOI]). If you meet their specific criteria (such as being on their in-demand occupations list) you will be invited to create a profile through their selection system. If you are successful in achieving the nomination you will be award 600 additional points for your Express Entry profile. Since the average Canadian immigration points have never exceeded 500 points, you are guaranteed to be drawn from the pool, granted you meet the other requirements for your selected program.
 CRS Calculator
There is a tool on the Canada Immigration Website which we often refer to as CRS Calculator that helps candidates calculate their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score based on the answers they provide. You can always use this tool to know your scores once:

You’re eligible for at least 1 Express Entry program and
You have not filled out an Express Entry profile but you’d like to see what your Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score might be if you do
Or
You were invited to apply for permanent residence, and want to see if a change to your profile may affect your CRS score
You need to make sure that your CRS score is above the minimum points score of your round of invitations.
