Here are some of the major obstacles to be considered when one wants to master French and get prepared for TEF.
The First Real Question you need to ask Yourself
What are your biggest learning obstacles?
Is it that, You don’t know how to learn French? You cannot find a language school around you where you can learn French? Language school around you do not teach people how to listen to and speak French, rather they only focus on reading and writing it? You do not have enough time to learn French? You do not feel motivated to even learn it? Or even, you tried it before and it did not work out?
My Own Answers
Truthfully, I have developed a Language Learning Formula that helps both Anglophone and few Francophones now to learn and even master French fast  but the technical skills which the formula is part of are not enough. There are 2 tracks you need to run on when it comes to learning a language? These tracks are known as the:

Mechanics Track

2. Mindset TrackBuild your Mindset
As to every achievement, it takes a burning desire and will to see through the daunting task of learning a new language and/or preparing for TEF Canada. I am always known for emphasizing the fact that the inner game of a learner will determine if he learns the language well, fast and efficiently.

Language Schools and most language teachers focus on Mechanics and NOT mindset but the two (2) go hand-in-hand.Eight (8) Mindset Obstacles

Fear – Most Common if you are new to language learning Like Fear of Making Mistakes, Failure & Time or Money Wastage
Ego – Thoughts of knowing more than native speakers or language coaches or when you talk more than learning and trying to avoid or refuse feedback on your mistakes.
Low Self Esteem – Low Confidence (lack of belief) in yourself, intimidated by language speakers & thinking that a language is very difficult to learn or even impossible to learn.
Lone Wolf Syndrome – You try to learn everything yourself, you feel you can do it all by yourself but we all have the same 24 hours in a day, you need to leverage people. Join a good system and language learning group!
Perfection – This is the sneakiest mindset problem. It makes you wait for perfect competence, make assumptions for language learning & this is due to low belief and self-confidence in your abilities.
Complacency – Here, you are carried away by other things, or you even stop learning the language or even never stop learning. Your absence finally leads you to not knowing and speaking the language.
Rigidity – Your stubbornness, inflexibility, unwillingness to change your learning methods which is not working as a result of you thinking you are smarter than language speakers or coaches But you can ‘t force language. You only ignore feedback & do not want to accept mistakes.
Short-sighted/ Myopia – You do not build relationships and involve in repeated communication because you feel language learning is just about class teachings only.
