This year has changed the way Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) conducts its Invitations To Apply (ITA) for permanent residency twice. Initially, we had 2 selections done within just 7 days interval. Now, the ministry chose just provincial nominees with at least 733 Cumulative Ranking Score (CRS) or more. This means that no one can accurately predict what the minister and his team would do for the most part of this year. You just need to follow the tide and position yourself well…

Factual Discussions
It is high time we talk sense to ourselves. Many candidates who did put their express entry profiles in late last year and early this year with improved point system getting in with their French proficiency and TEF/TCF Canada test result following the Canada adverts are now reaping the benefits of still hanging in there without being discouraged. In light of the constant change of the IRCC within the first 2 months of the new year, we can still not rest on our petals to give up from our Canadian dream. The crux is on us to always persevere and hope for the best while expecting the worst.
Most Recent Draw
If you have not heard, I am here to spill out the unexpected news that we got from the Express Entry round of invitations that was the #239 and pooled on February 1, 2023. Apparently, those who had their nominations under any Provincial Nominee Program got their chance yesterday. Time of the round was at 16:05:57 UTC and the tie-breaking rule was slated for December 09, 2022, at 10:49:57 UTC. As usual, if more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.CRS score distribution of candidates
Even though, in the Express Entry pool as of February 1, 2023, the CRS score range for the number of candidates were about 937 for 601-1200, 1,553 for 501-600, 1,353 for 491-500 and 12,360 for 481-490 range. If we take a closer look at the ranges from 1200 – 491, there were only 3,843 candidates who were more than qualified to get their ITAs last evening. The points could have reduced drastically into the 481 – 490 range if they were to pick another 5,500 candidates too but the IRCC had other plans and tricks on their sleeves.
The Bright Side
Nonetheless, we should always stay positive as we believe that there will still be light at the end of the tunnel for our fellow candidates. If your express entry profiles are not getting expired soon, we would advise that you keep on waiting for your own turn and get back in if it has expired so that you don’t miss out on the targeted draws that would most likely be starting up if not in this month but in the next couple of weeks’ time.Past invitation rounds
It is true that this draw would be the 1st one to favor only the provincial nominees after 13 straight times selection of the ‘no program specified’, that is, all the 3 sub-programs of the express entry (federal skilled worker, federal skilled trades and Canadian experience class programs). And, it is also a major fact that for the most of last year from February – July 2022, the IRCC selected only the PNP applicants before resuming their normal all programs’ draws. A would-be Canadian immigrant should not assume that this history will repeat itself as things do change rapidly in the Canadian immigration ministry and if there is no worldly pandemic again just like that of the Coronavirus, we should not be expecting a negative turn of events again for the next couple of years.
The way forward
In all possible ways, it would be worthwhile for all potential immigrants should endeavor to rank high in the Express Entry pool using the well-known points-based system called the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). So that, within the next 2 weeks or any other time interval, IRCC can invite you together with the top candidates in the pool to apply for permanent residence during their rounds of invitations. It is glaring now that those who did get selected more than others were those with the provincial or territorial nominations, so it would not be a lie or false advice to say that candidates should endeavor to get that Notification of Interest (NOI) from one or more Canadian province or territory in order to get qualified to be issued a nomination from potential provincial government for relocation purposes. The Bonuses of PNP
If you are one of those who really want to move alone to Canada or even relocate with your family members, you can easily and with much more assurance if you are fully eligible for various provincial nominee programs than other visa routes like study permit or work permit. In every possible situation, I would always advise intending single or family immigrants to attempt the PNP routes as they are now regarded as the best entry program for family relocation than the other pathways.
Regular criteria of PNPs
It is common knowledge for many expecting immigrants the criteria of popular provinces or territories but it has been found out that more applicants do not know how well to position themselves for getting that nomination quickly and surely. As a result, A.O.S Canada IRC. has developed a JAPA (Migrate) EasyFastTrack Complete Package to Canada in 2023 which assists any kind of immigrant to move to Canada alone, with their common-law partner or their other family members within 6 – 12 months. It also prepares them for popular English tests like IELTS, or even French-based tests like TEF or TCF Canada within that stipulated time while still training them on how to make money in the process so that they can afford to pay for their relocation to Canada seamlessly without relying on extended family members, commercial or microfinance banks or even using the services of licensed immigration consultants, lawyers, travel agents or even other representatives.
