It is no longer news that Canada has decided to restart its 2 Express Entry programs (FSWP & CEC) draws in July. Also, amidst the 3 months extended ASUU strike, many schools abroad (in Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, United Kingdom, United States of America, and so on), are admitting students for the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 academic sessions with/out scholarships. There could be a chance for you to leave that country for better education for you or your children, free medical and insurance benefits for them, more employment prospects and improved living standards within now and the next Nigeria presidential election period which is slated for March 2023…

My Own Fears
I don’t know about you as a person or a member of your family but for me, I didn’t want to stay and just pray for Nigeria without taking a step to either make it better or leave before I regret it. For those who know me, I chose the latter. I may be weak, middle class and not politically inclined to fight for the country, get the 100 million naira presidential form from APC party or any other but I am strong willed when it comes to preventing myself, immediate family and unborn children from the havoc that is waiting to be unleashed this coming year in Nigeria.
Not a Political Blog
Well, this is not meant to be a political article so, I would leave the topic now and move on to how you can and why you need to obtain record-breaking scores in IELTS and/or TEF Canada language tests in order to further boost your eligibility in further studies, work and life abroad. The consequences of not getting any of these language tests marks and moving out of the country now when schools are on strike and election is fast approaching may be that students graduating from SS3 by July/August in Nigeria won’t get admitted into Federal Universities, those writing JAMB won’t also get admitted, those currently in universities won’t be able to move forward with their studies as those in finals won’t graduate either, workers in universities won’t get their salaries, legal voters in the upcoming election won’t be able to not only feed provide themselves with basic amenities of life but would also lack needed security of lives and properties during the voting exercise. In short, many poor, middle class and even few rich individuals will be literarily stuck one way or the other for few months from now.Your Awareness and Call to Action
You are not too young to know that the Nigerian government has no plans for you and I but sadly other countries and institutions overseas do. It beckons you to take the bull by the horn and get started now to create or follow a viable pathway for you to relocate, travel, school, work or even retire in a foreign country like Canada which has insanely rewarding benefits for permanent and temporary immigrants like you within the next 6 months. Do you know that many of those politicians, ASUU leaders and rich folks have investments, citizenships and residency abroad? Nigeria allows dual and even triple citizenship rights so it’s lawful for them to possess it and worse still move public funds overseas to invest to get these residency permits with/out necessarily going through the normal language test procedures and applications like you and I. That’s definitely a topic of another day. The point here is for you to take action now and not later.
CRS Tool: Skilled Immigrants (Express Entry)
If you are like many of our clients who are preparing for Canada immigration through Express Entry FSWP or CEC draws for July, you would probably know by now that points are everything. The more test marks you get, the better your eligibility for relocation, similarly for studies or work abroad in countries like Australia, UK, US, etc. Taking the Canada CRS calculator as a case study, generally getting Band or NCLC level 8.0 or more makes you stand out amongst other applicants. We, at A.O.S Academy can coach or help you to obtain such amazing points with/out our test preparation classes. Contact us to get more details now!The CRS Indicators Explained
To be conservative with our predictions of the possible scores you can get for both or either of IELTS and TEF Canada tests, in the CRS tool, it is filled that the candidate is married. As we all know that applicants with spouses or common-law partners get reduced CRS points for themselves as principal applicants in the pool. So, if you can get a higher mark irrespective of your marital status here, then if you are single, your marks will go off the roof. Another assumption made that would directly affect the point system is that your highest level of education is Bachelor’s degree (three or more year program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute).
IELTS Assumed Scores
With at least Band 8.0 in IELTS test, the test scores per language skill will be around 7.0 or more for Speaking, 8.0 or more for listening, 7.0 or more for reading and 7.0 or more for writing. These amazing test scores will accumulate to an average of Band 8.0 which equates to CEFR level of C1. If the applicant uses the language test result for first official language, he can expect to get 116 points for the first language under the Core/Human capital factors and an additional 25 points for official Language proficiency and education under the Skill transferability factors which both equals 141 points or more for just the English language test.TEF Canada Assumed Scores
On the other hand, once a candidate can bag at least 8.0 or more CLB points in the TEF Canada test with test scores per language skill will be around 349-370 or more for Speaking (Expression Orale), 280-297 or more for listening (Compréhension Orale), 233-247 or more for reading (Compréhension Écrite) and 349-370 or more for writing (Expression Écrite). These marks will amount to an average of Band 8.0 which equates to CECR level of C1. Selecting this as second language will make the candidate obtain 12 or more points for the second language under the Core/Human capital factors, an additional 50 points for Official Language proficiency and foreign work experience under the Foreign work experience factors and even 50 points more for French-language skills under the Additional points which all equals 112 points or more for the French language test.
More Background Information
These points are dependent on the fact that either only the principal applicant or both of the principal and secondary applicants are educated at least up to the bachelor’s degree level and the principal applicant has been working and has foreign experience for 3 years or more without studies or work experience in Canada or even job offer from a Canadian employer or nomination from a Canadian province and no one brother or sister living in Canada who is a citizen or permanent resident. Without a spouse, the applicant gets 499 points while with a spouse, he gets 493 points if the spouse also did IELTS and got Band 8.0 but without IELTS, they get 473 CRS scores. For the first 2 options, getting selected to relocate to Canada in July is likely sure while the last can take a month or more to get chosen if our Canada FSWP/ CEC predictions play well. Our Way to Ease the Stress
